Frequently tapped for leadership roles in the Galactic Coalition, the Blue Beings, or “Sek’ash” are considered masters of architecture, energetic medicine, herbalism and terraforming planets.  They are astonishingly long-lived; SSP intelligence records place the current Maia’s age at nine hundred and twelve years.  

Over 800,000 years ago, this largely peaceful species became one of the four original founders of the Federation, as they sought relations with nearby populations primarily for trade.  

Their home planet, Tangaraiki, is known to be lush and heavily forested.  Since eighty percent of the surface is covered by liquid oceans, however, Sek’ash architects have perfected the art of underwater construction.

A devoutly spiritual people, the Blues infuse their rich mythology and symbolism into every aspect of life.  Thus, for our internal SSP purposes, it is difficult to determine the accuracy of any records on them predating 800,000 years.
