Arguably the most physically menacing species known in the quadrant, the Orondraki have built a massive and powerful dominion, easily outclassing any and all in our database in territorial size, relevance and military strength, possibly save the Galactic Coalition.  

They are humanoid, but possess segmented, almost insectoid bodies and bony, mantis-shaped heads with narrow mandibles.

Their fleet is staggering in size, containing thousands of Triarii destroyers, space carriers and small Hastatii marauder class vessels known for their near-indestructibility in combat.  Each is outfitted with a powerful laser arsenal, as well as the feared scalar autocannon. 

The ongoing war between the Orondraki and the Coalition have fractured and destabilized most near-Earth sectors.  Discipline within their military ranks is legendary; the methods by which it is maintained have been of particular interest to our senior officers.  Our collaboration with them here at the Monmouth Project is critical to Phase III: [REDACTED – YOUR CLEARANCE IS INSUFFICENT TO ACCESS ALL RECORDS]

It is believed their origin is not from this galaxy.
